🧩 Step 1 — GitHub पर अकाउंट बनाओ
सबसे पहले जाओ 👉 https://github.com
वहाँ Sign Up पर क्लिक करो।
Email, username और password डालकर अकाउंट बना लो।
Email verify करना मत भूलना (important है)।
🌿 Step 2 — Repo खोलो और Fork करो
अब ये https://github.com/Open-Source-you/Hackotberfest2025
ऊपर दाहिने कोने में Fork बटन दिखेगा — उस पर क्लिक करो।
इससे इस repo की copy तुम्हारे GitHub अकाउंट में बन जाएगी।
🎉 Step 3 — Hacktoberfest की वेबसाइट पर Register करो
अब जाओ 👉 https://hacktoberfest.com
वहाँ Register या Start Hacking बटन दबाओ।
अपने GitHub अकाउंट से login करके register कर लो।
(इससे तुम्हारे PRs Hacktoberfest में count होंगे!)
🧠 Step 4 — फिर से Repo पर जाओ
अब अपने fork किए गए repo पर वापस जाओ 👉
https://github.com/Open-Source-you/Hackotberfest2025
💻 Step 5 — Code में बदलाव करो
Repo के अंदर किसी भी फाइल पर क्लिक करो।
ऊपर दाईं तरफ ✏️ (edit icon) दिखेगा — उस पर क्लिक करो।
अब फाइल में कोई छोटा change करो (जैसे एक नई line, छोटा fix, या note add करना)।
नीचे जाओ, वहाँ Commit changes का हरा बटन दिखेगा — उस पर क्लिक करो।
🚀 Step 6 — Pull Request (PR) बनाओ
अब पेज पर ऊपर “Compare & pull request” बटन दिखेगा — उस पर क्लिक करो।
एक नया पेज खुलेगा जहाँ Create pull request बटन होगा — उस पर क्लिक करो।
बस! 🎉 तुम्हारा पहला Pull Request बन गया!
🌀 Step 7 — 6 बार ऐसा करो!
Hacktoberfest में qualify करने के लिए कम से कम 4 से 6 बार (Pull Requests) बनाओ।
हर बार repo में कुछ छोटा-मोटा valid change करो (जैसे text सुधारना, नए examples, या छोटे fixes)।
⚠️ ध्यान रहे: बिना मतलब के empty या duplicate PR मत बनाओ — Hacktoberfest टीम ऐसे PRs reject कर देती है।
✅ Step 8 — Progress चेक करो
वापस https://hacktoberfest.com पर जाओ।
Login करके देखो — वहाँ दिखेगा कि तुम्हारे कितने PRs accept हुए हैं।
6 valid PRs होने पर तुम्हें Hacktoberfest का 🎁 T-shirt या Badge मिलेगा।
